Doctors

Dr Manuj Chhabra


Dr Manuj Chhabra MBBS with Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Working in general practice for more than 15 years in Australia and is a Medical Director for the After Hours Deputising service - National Home Doctor Services. Dr Chhabra is a designated Aviation Medical Examiner, and does a variety of Pre-Employment Medicals, Drug and Alcohol Screening and is very experienced in all areas of General Practice.

Dr Manuj Chhabra is an authorised prescriber for Medicinal Cannabis.

Dr Rajiv Gandhi 


Dr Gandhi is an experienced general practitioner with a keen interest in diabetes, hypertension, chronic disease management and antenatal care. Dr Gandhi also does Iron Infusions.

Dr Sumer Phutela


Dr Sumer Phutela is an experienced GP with a keen interest in Chronic Disease Management ( Diabetes and Hypertension) , Mental health issues and Children Health. Dr Phutela also does Anti-Wrinkle Injections. 

Dr Sumer Phutela is an authorised prescriber for Medicinal Cannabis.

Dr Mark Merrin


Dr Mark Merrin is a highly experienced

doctor who has been in general practice in Daisy Hill for nearly 40 years. Dr Merrin is also bilingual and speaks both English and Finnish.

Dr Vithiya Ilaventhan (Dr V)

Female Doctor


Dr Vithiya Ilaventhan is a vocationally qualified and experienced female General Practitioner, having completed her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, in 2007. She was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2014. In 2018 she completed a Diploma in Child Health.

After completing her initial training and then practising in various hospitals in Sri Lanka following her graduation, Dr Vithiya migrated to Victoria, Australia in 2011 and continued her work as a General Practitioner in Melbourne VIC before moving to the sunshine capital city Brisbane, QLD.

She has a special interest in Women’s health and Paediatrics.

Dr Vithiya speaks Sinhalese and Tamil in addition to English.
